LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)

Accusoft provides a diverse, user-friendly, tailor made laboratory information management system. (LIMS)

Small laboratories are able to run manually. But when things start to grow, there is evidently more room for error, data loss and miscommunication.

AccuLIMS provides a controlled, secure, automated environment, where human error is at the absolute minimum.

The AccuLIMS core system was developed over a period of 5 years, assisted by constant feedback from laboratory managers, analysts and technicians and is designed to be built around your business and its procedures.

Each module is equipped with;

  • Windows or Web based
  • Data validation
  • Automatic calculations
  • Centralised data
  • Traceability
  • Change control and tracking
  • Data retention

AccuLIMS is locally developed in South Africa.

Below are some examples of already developed modules and features.
The system is not in any-way limited to these and can be tailored to your laboratory and industry.

LIMS

A Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), sometimes referred to as a Laboratory Information System (LIS) or Laboratory Management System (LMS), is a software-based laboratory and information management system that offers a set of key features that support a modern laboratory’s operations.

Those key features include – but are not limited to – workflow and data tracking support, flexible architecture, and smart data exchange interfaces, which fully “support its use in regulated environments.” The features and uses of a LIMS have evolved over the years from simple sample tracking to an enterprise resource planning tool that manages multiple aspects of laboratory informatics.
